Professional 15.00mm Maykestag Speeddrill+ Aluminium solid carbide drill manufactured in Type W geometry with a 135° point angle, AURODUR coating, internal coolant supply and a long 5xD design. Manufactured to DIN 6537L with a DIN 6535-HA cylindrical shank, it is specifically designed for high-performance drilling in aluminium and is also ideally suited to copper and brass.

The Maykestag Code 6848 Speeddrill+ Aluminium is a high-performance solid carbide drill developed specifically for aluminium machining. The drill incorporates internal coolant channels to deliver coolant directly through the tool to the cutting zone, supporting efficient chip evacuation and temperature control during high-speed drilling.

The 15.00mm version has a 16mm h6 shank, 133mm overall length and 83mm flute length. Its 135° point angle, specialised Type W geometry and AURODUR coating are designed for efficient aluminium drilling, while six guide chamfers help provide high alignment accuracy and drill stability at high cutting speeds and feeds.
