The Maykestag Code 6157 is a precision solid carbide drill with ALUNIT® coating, designed for professional drilling applications. Manufactured to DIN 338 Type N, the drill features a 118° point angle, two cutting edges and a drilling depth capability of up to 5×D. The 1.00mm drill diameter is matched by a 1.00mm h6 shank, providing a compact configuration for precision toolholding.

The ALUNIT® coated design is intended to provide increased tool performance and durability compared with the corresponding bright solid carbide version. The drill is particularly suited to demanding machining applications where accurate hole production and reliable tool life are important.
