Professional 8mm short-series slot end mill manufactured from HSS-Co8 and coated with ALUNIT®, featuring a 4mm radius, two flutes, centre-cutting geometry and a 30° Type N normal helix for accurate contouring, profiling, slotting and general milling applications.

The Maykestag Series 1057 is a precision HSS-Co8 slot end mill with a radiused cutting end, designed for machining curved profiles, rounded transitions, slots and contoured surfaces. Its centre-cutting geometry allows the cutting edges to work across the centre of the tool, making it suitable for applications where the cutter needs to enter the workpiece as well as cut laterally. The short-series construction provides increased rigidity and helps reduce tool deflection, supporting accurate machining and a consistent finish. The ALUNIT® coating provides a hard, wear-resistant cutting surface designed to reduce friction and heat load while supporting increased cutting speeds, productivity and consistent machining performance.
