The Maykestag Code 4612 Speedtap-Inox is a high-performance straight-fluted machine tap for producing metric ISO internal threads according to DIN 13. This M36 version has a 4.00mm pitch and is designed for through-hole tapping, with a Form B chamfer extending over approximately 3.5 to 5 thread pitches. Its HSSE-V3 cutting material, VAPO-treated surface and precision thread geometry make it particularly well suited to demanding professional threading applications, including stainless steels.

Maykestag specifies an overall tool length of 200mm, a 56mm threaded cutting length, a 28mm shank diameter and a 22mm square drive dimension for this M36 version.
